If you have entered your server path into MacroView DMF, successfully licensed your software but still receive the License status message.
Try to access the MacroView licensing website in your web browser https://licensing.macroview.com.au.
If you can't access MacroView licensing
Your client is likely having an issue communicating with the MacroView external licensing server, possibly due to a firewall or proxy issue.
You should confirm that https://licensing.macroview.com.au is not blocked by your firewall, or that it is added to the list of addresses to bypass the proxy for in Internet Options->Connections->LAN Settings.
If there are still issues after confirming that, please contact MacroView Support describing your situation and attach a copy of an information level trace file from MacroView Options > Support > Trace Files.
If you can access MacroView licensing
The issue is not likely linked to a firewall or proxy issue.
Instead, you should try removing your server from MacroView DMF then re-entering it:
- Close all Office applications + DMF Explorer
- In the system tray, right-click the local service (yellow cube) and select Exit
- In regedit, delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MacroView
- Also, in Windows Explorer, delete %appdata%\MacroView DMF
Then run DMF Explorer again and add a server (there should be no servers in the list).
