Note: MacroView is on the Monthly Upgrade option so that we receive all new versions as soon as they are released by Microsoft. We use the latest releases of both Office and MacroView DMF on our own desktops which has proven to be an effective way of identifying issues caused by the constant Microsoft releases. Over the past 2 years we have seen two issues that affected MacroView DMF.
We recommend that customers use the Semi Annual releases because in our experience these have been of a higher quality than the monthly releases.
In our view, semi-annual strikes a nice balance between wanting to take advantage of the latest features and needing to have a reliable experience for users.
