MacroView DMF and Message display an icon for each file in the file list indicating its file type and if the file has been checked out, declared as a record or is on hold, this icon includes an overlay.
If you want to also highlight files in these states so that they are more obvious this can be done using a few registry settings.
Setting the following registry keys to 1 the the corresponding files will be highlighted in grey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MacroView\DMF\UserOptions
if you want to go further and use different colours for the highlight of each type you can add the following registry keys and set their value to the required colours hexadecimal value:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MacroView\DMF\Preferences
Before making any registry updates to MacroView please close all applications and then exit the MacroView DMF caching process. Once the process is not running then apply the registry update.
