MacroView DMF and Message 8.5 provide a File List Toolbar in both Outlook and DMF Explorer which makes useful file list functions quick and easy to access.
MacroView DMF and Message 8.6 extend the File List Toolbar to include the Find Files function.
MacroView DMF and Message 8.8 extend the File List Toolbar to include the New function.
The File List Toolbar options change depending on the selected mode and replace the options that were available on the Outlook and DMF Explorer ribbons in earlier versions.
Browse Mode options
- View - Select any of the available views defined for this location in SharePoint.
- Filter - Filter the files in the file list based on one of the current views columns or any key filters defined in SharePoint for this location.
You can also quickly apply a filter to, or remove a filter from, a single column by hovering the mouse over the column header and clicking the down arrow to enter or clear your filter criteria. - Clear - Clear any column or key filters that are currently applied.
- Preview - Toggle the preview pane on or off.
- Reset - Reset the current view columns back to their default width.
- Refresh - Refresh the contents of the file list.
- New - Create folders, document sets, documents and emails (version 8.8 only)
- Quick Find - Find files in the current location and sub folders (version 8.6 only)
Recents Mode options
- View - Select to view opened and modified recent files or only those that were either modified or opened.
- Filter - Not available in Recents mode.
- Clear - Not available in Recents mode.
- Preview - Toggle the preview pane on or off.
- Reset - Reset the current view columns back to their default width.
- Refresh - Refresh the contents of the file list.
Search Mode options
- Order - Select to search result order to Relevance, Date (Newest) or Date (Oldest).
- Preview - Toggle the preview pane on or off.
- Reset - Reset the current search result columns back to their default width.
- Refresh - Rerun the current search.
- Export to Excel - Export the current search results to an Excel file.
