When uploading documents and emails, MacroView DMF and Message by default, will display a Uploading X file progress dialog similar to below:
In MacroView DMF / Message 8.6.82, you can enable / disable the progress bar during the Uploading of files and attachments from both MacroView DMF and Outlook. This is useful when you are copying or moving a number of files to SharePoint and do not want the progress displayed.
The setting applies when uploading both emails, files or attachments.
Under Options -> General settings, when the setting Show upload progress is checked, this will suppress the "uploading" portion of the dialog. Only the "processing" stage of the copy / move will be displayed.
By default this setting is enabled (the setting is checked).
To configure this setting:
- Open Outlook or DMF Explorer
- Under Options -> General, the Show upload progress checkbox can be unchecked to suppress this dialog window.
NOTE: This setting effects Upload Progress only. Progress display when downloading file(s) from SharePoint is not effected by this setting (Progress bar occurs regardless).
At times, there will be a Processing dialog box displayed for a brief period (separate to the Uploading progress dialog). This is a background task, independent of this feature.
