MacroView Mail allows you to insert files from SharePoint Online (Office 365) into an email from any device running Outlook Web Access (OWA) or the Outlook rich client.
To insert an attachment into an email in Windows
Step 1: Open the MacroView Mail App
Open the email you are composing and in which you want to insert the attachment or link and click the MacroView Mail Insert Attachment option on the Message ribbon.
Note: If this is the first time you have used the MacroView Mail App you will see the Welcome screen in which case you will need to accept the End User Agreement and click Start inserting to continue.
Step 2: Select attachment
Select the files you want to insert into the email.
You can browse or search for a file in SharePoint, Teams or OneDrive for Business or you can choose from a Recent, Favorite or Subscription location or file
Click on a location to drill into it or search for a file by entering text in the search box and hitting enter.
Step 3: Insert attachment
Click on a file to insert it into the email.
By default the file will be inserted as an attachment. To insert the file as a link or as a PDF file, click the three dots to the right of the file and choose Insert as link or Insert as PDF
You can set whether the default insert type is an attachment or a link under Settings
To preview the file before inserting click the three dots to the right of the file and select Preview File.
Continue selecting any additional files you want to attach, then close the MacroView Mail app by clicking the X at the top right of the pane.
