Some MacroView solutions, as well as custom solutions developed by MacroView to meet specific client requirements, are implemented using a Resource library which contains the configuration files that define the solution appearance and functionality.
Clients can update their configuration files, such as CEF Rules, Search Panels or Library Folder Structures. Therefore before we make any configuration changes on our side, we ask the client to download the contents of their Resource library and send it through to us. This ensures that we have the latest versions of all configurations files prior to making any changes.
How to download the contents of your Resource Library
To download the contents of your Resource Library:
- In MacroView DMF Explorer / MacroView Message (Outlook) right-click on your Resource library in the tree-view and select Open in Browser.
- In the browser window hover over the left side of the library header columns to make the select all items button visible and then click to select all items.
- After selecting all the items click the Download button to download the contents of the Resource library as a zip file.
The resulting zip file can then be emailed to MacroView.
